Gypsy Rose Blanchard, now enjoying life after prison, shared about her married life in an Instagram comment defending her husband from mean remarks.
Gypsy, who left prison last week after serving over eight years for her mother’s murder, married Ryan Scott Anderson, a special education teacher from Louisiana, while she was still in jail in 2022.

On one of Anderson’s Instagram posts, Gypsy Rose Blanchard supported her husband, saying, “ignore the mean comments,” and that they don’t “need to explain ourselves to anyone,” hinting about their private life together.
“Plus, they’re just jealous because you make me so happy every night,” Gypsy wrote. “Yep, I said it, our love life is amazing.”
Anderson picked Gypsy up from Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri on Thursday in a car with a Bret “The Hitman” Hart license plate. He shared with PEOPLE that he planned to cook Gypsy gumbo for a special night out after her release.
“Gypsy hasn’t really been on a traditional date, you know, like going out to eat and then catching a movie,” Anderson explains.
Now, like Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Anderson faces a lot of attention after marrying the recently released person whose life has been featured in true crime shows.

They connected after Anderson saw the 2017 HBO documentary about Gypsy’s life, “Mommy Dead and Dearest.” He reached out with a letter in 2020, and from there, their relationship blossomed, leading to their marriage two years later.
Living with Anderson will be completely new for Gypsy Rose Blanchard. As a victim of Munchausen by proxy, she’s never lived with a man before.
“I was raised by my mom, so I never had a dad around,” she shares exclusively. “I have no idea what it’s like to live with a man.”
