In response, the palace confirmed to the Russian state-run TASS news agency that King Charles III is actively engaged in official and private affairs. Moreover, the fake statement, which originated from the palace and bore the monarch’s official seal, falsely declared his passing.

On February 5, Buckingham Palace disclosed that King Charles had been diagnosed with “a form of cancer” after treatment for an enlarged prostate. However, royal reporter Omid Scobie later clarified that Charles did not have prostate cancer.
