Rachel Bachelorette shared on Nick Viall’s podcast in December why she and Bryan Abasolo, who met on her Bachelorette season in 2017 and got married in August 2019, kept their relationship mostly private.

Lindsay mentioned that this choice came from facing a lot of criticism after their time on the show. She told Viall that she wanted to be careful about what they let people know.
Talking about marriage, Rachel Bachelorette said that every relationship has good and tough moments, but because they kept things private, others wouldn’t know if they were doing well or facing challenges. She shared her preference for this privacy, choosing to share things only when they felt right.
